FAUN J71 WRE and 7 bed 7 draw bar trailer deliver a 174 tonne turbine into Ferrybridge power station having left Goole docks earlier in the day.

My family’s haulage company James Hunter & Sons took the steel from Scotland to construction the B turbine hall in the 50’s. In my time we took the steel down for Drax B in the 70’s and early 80’s. About 60,000 tons over a period of seven years. “Jankers” were used in the 50’s, not that anyone will know what they are now!

we had some Fauns down here at Penzance taking transformer up to Indian Queens, they are massive when you are next to them, what does STGO cat 3 mean
