She’s a machine ,! Her timing spot on . No click for Ale , I know Dany uses a click because Pou runs it with her start and stop midi pedals on the left of her high hat pedal and right hand base pedal . All of these sisters are awesome musicians song writers and composers. The whole package .

@@spidernose Pau herself said that Ale is a machine when it comes to time, and she has often been the recipient of hard glares from Ale for getting off time. Her response was that she is the drummer and Ale should be following HER, but she lost that argument!

all three are very solid musicians, but in terms of sheer technicality, Pau is consistently overrated (which is not to say she isn't great at the kit, but it's her combo of play style, audience control, vocals and songwriting that make her stand out, not her pure drumming, which is honestly not on par with say, Akane from Band-Maid), while Ale is consistently overlooked and underrated. Again, not playing the craziest prog lines or anything, yet, but her fundamentals are sound and she is a metronome, and has to fill a LOT of sonic space with only one guitarist, and with Dany even taking time off from playing on a lot of the newer songs. So the ability to cover the root notes and fill the void of the rhythm guitar, and write catchy bass hooks? She IMO is probably the most purely talented of the three at their instruments, unless we count Dany's voice as one, which especially of late, she has taken to the next level of Rock Queen. Regardless, all three are great musicians, who write song that are catchy as heck.

There are two kinds of bassists. First, there are the virtuosos who dazzle crowds with their bass wizardry. Second, there are those who anchor the group with their perfect timekeeping. Most of the time, the first type of bassist does the work of the second type. There may be a day when Ale does the wizardry in public. In the mean time, she is doing a great job holding Dani and Pau to time.

The drummer in any band (except Keith Moon) IS the time. The bass syncs up with the drummer, not the other way around. The bass player adds the bottom on the chord changes with the guitarist, but still locks in with the kick drum. Sheehan, McCartney are bassists who play melodic runs, Sarzo with Ozzy live is an example of a solid straight player. Other than that, your comment was right on the money! With respect, M ❤

The only thing to pick on is stage pressence and Ale has said this herself. Its hard to come up whit new moves and ahe often stays around her spot. On songs she dont sing much she could run over to Dani or just do the crowd interaction things like going front stage and do high fives or raise arm get the crowd going etc
