Well, in the wake of Jim Perry's recent passing, it's high time I went back to uploading episodes of my favorite of his game shows: Sale of the Century.
As a tribute to him, here is day 1 of the 1988 Tournament of Champions.
9 of the show's biggest winners in the past year are back. The winners of the first three days will complete in the finals in a best-of-4 match for a guaranteed $10,000 and a shot at a brand-new $32,000 Mercedes-Benz 190D 2.5 in the Winner's Big Money Game!
Also, in the preliminary matches, the Big Money Game is played for $5,000, whereas it is played for $10,000 in the finals.
