An incredible interview. This is why The Warning are so great, so open, honest full of humility and great humor too. I always knew Ale was articulate from when she did the TedX talk all those years ago. I know she doesn't like to speak up at interviews when Pau and Dany are there, but this was so nice to see and hear, to hear her laugh and answer very eloquently. She literally lights up a room when she smiles, but when she's playing the bass she knocks your legs right out from under you. Wonderful interview, even without the subtitles i still would have picked up a lot, despite never learning any Spanish since it is not spoken here in New Zealand, but thanks for the subtitles as they allowed me to understand so much more than trying to pick out the occasional words here and there.

Rock the bass, sing lead if necessary, or make a full 30 minutes long interview alone… I like these more reserved characters that don’t have the drive to be the center of all attention, but they can do everything when they have to, in a smart, calm, well thought way… like Ale! @@georgrittel4243 you know that she sings a number of the high parts on a few of their songs, so I’m no expert but I’d say it’s not totally accurate to say she has a low singing voice.

Wow that was really insightful... much less "I answer these questions all the time and here is the answer you've heard 20 times before", and much more about her actually thinking about her personal experience and knowledge and opinions and memories. And never an exaggeration or ego-building story.... self deprecating, honest, fair, yet kind and thoughtful and supportive. Nearly every member of bands I've worked with over the years, who was not the primary songwriter/lyricist or front person, could not have conducted such an effective interview. Each of those women are (imho) dramatically smarter than, and more thoughtful and deep than, the members of many well known bands.

It’s a bit of an urban myth that Ale doesn’t get the chance to speak in interviews because of her sisters. Ale doesn’t enjoy speaking in interviews, which her sisters know, and so they do the bulk of the talking while she smiles, nods or acknowledges the question. She has various techniques she sometimes uses, including having an answer ready and saying it, or looking at one of her sisters or passing the mic to a sister. She has very rarely given interviews by herself and is a fluent, entertaining and confident speaker in Spanish or English. During the monthly Patreon Livechats and in Vlogs she speaks freely and plays a full and active part in answering the questions, easily holding her own in the conversations.

@@Metal4Life666 Paulina is the one who is good with words, that's why when is just Daniela and Alejandra they both talk, because they have to support each other. But when Paulina is there, they just let her talk because she's good at it and can speak for the three. I remember an interview where Daniela made a joke about Paulina and Paulina was like "If you're gonna make fun of me then I'm not talking anymore, you answer the questions" and Daniela was like 😱😱😱 constantly looking at Paulina for help, until Paulina was like "Ok, give me the mic" and Daniela was pretty relieved. 😌 Even in this interview Alejandra said "I usually do interviews with my sisters and I don't speak much, so I let THEM do all the talking". So, there's a reason why they do the things they do and the way they do it.

Tambien a mi me han hecho tragar mis palabras....es cierto que la banda se puede decir que nacio en cuna de oro (ojo ellas no tienen la culpa de eso), es cierto que sus padres las apoyaron al mil por ciento, pero tambien es cierto que hay otros musicos o bandas que nacieron en la misma situacion y no a pasado nada....con ellas a sido diferente, pues son disciplinadas, entregadas y saben a donde van....esa es la diferencia, aprovechar lo que la vida te pone y darle con todo, hoy en Mexico existen muchas bandas, bandas buenas, con propuesta, lo importante es que en lugar de criticar, vean y atiendan lo que a ellas y a otras bandas importantes les a funcionado para llegar a donde estan.

An excellent interview. A Warning instrumental might be a path to let Ale's Spector sing. The power trio has a history in rock and jazz. The sparse instrumentation makes each musician critical to the whole. The individual tonal ranges allow the instruments to also stand out. That 5 string Spector really comes through on the latest live fan clips. Looking forward to seeing the live, somewhere down the road.

@@diegomh3915 De hecho entre ellas es la que más habla, pero no le gusta hablar en público. Además viendo vlogs y videos que suben, Ale es la capataz de sus hermanas en los ensayos y presentaciones. Ella es como un metrónomo humano y cuando Pao pierde el ritmo se acerca para decirle. Hay un vídeo donde hacen el unboxing del Blacklist y Dany y Pao están sacando todo lo de la caja y lo vuelven a poner como sea y puedes ver a Ale cogiendo las cosas para ponerlas como estaban. Todas son disciplinadas, pero Ale es la más ordenada y la que ve que hagan todo bien en ensayos y presentaciones. Cada hermana tiene sus puntos fuertes, sus puntos débiles y sus roles dentro de la banda y dar entrevistas no es algo que le guste a Ale, lo saben y no la presionan, aunque como profesional da entrevistas cuando tiene que hacerlo o canta de solista cuando Dany no se siente bien.

The translations were not always accurate so there was some guessing but I thoroughly loved listening to Ale' get to talk without her sisters taking over. I love these ladies but Pau and Dany are much more dominant in conversation so it was good to have Ale' on her own!!

Yes agree she’s always the shy one and pushed to the back of the queue when talking, but I think that’s part of the personality that she is so quiet and retiring and only speaks when it’s really required, all three girls are great in their own way👍🏼

Estoy de acuerdo con el otro comentario. No parece que ella sea tímida o tenga miedo de cantar, simplemente no le llama la atención hacerlo, además por la disciplina que tienen las 3 si es que Ale llega a tener el lead en la voz va a tener qué estudiar mucho lo que es canto, esto probablemente obstaculizando o atrasando sus prácticas en bajo (ya no es como cuando eran una banda informal y tenían todo el tiempo del mundo para aprender lo que quieran, ahora deben cumplir con fechas, material, giras, viajes, etc). Si ella ya dijo muchas veces que no quiere cantar no la estén presionando por favor, si le nace algún día no creo que alguien la vaya a detener, así que déjenla seguir su propio ritmo y disfrutar de ser una Rockstar a su manera.

Ale desde pequeñita ya era una super estrella del Rock y ya demostraban de lo que estaba hecha y lista para transmitirlo al público y a sus fans. Fue pequeña y el bajo muy grande , pero pudo con el y hoy dia es una de las mejores bajistas( Diria la mejor) dentro del género del Rock . Bien por Ale y muy bien en la entrevista !! 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤
