Keypad LCD Embedded C program for 8051 by using Keil IDE with Proteus simulation

I was able to produce this circuit with a 4x4 matrix keypad, on a breadboard. The keys sometime repeat, due to bouncing and occasionally the bounce will produce two different keys from the same column. The first key pressed does not show up in the first space on the first line, it always shows up in the second space, and after filling the top line with numbers it take 13 or more keystrokes, before it will start working on the second line. Other then that I am pretty happy with the results so far. Thank you.

i wrote the exact code that u wrote...but its showing that r1,r2....all those are undefined..and when am declaring then ..its showing that redefined. what should i do now?

Please can you try programming 8051 to run with an I2C adapter like pcf85471 via pin addressing.. It will an awesome effort.

i programmed on proteus but when i enter one number in keypad. lcd displayed as two times. example- i enter '5' lcd displayed '55' what i do in next step. please reply me asap.

declare relay input connections using sbit datatype and in check function assign logic1 and else part assign logic 0 to relay input. Thank you

Why won't you take only R2 =0

After first row scan over , you have keep R1 logic as 1 otherwise columns keys become zero ,even if you operate keys R1, so R1 you to make logic one compulsory.
