He’s incredibly focused when speaking. He really transports himself back to the moment he is remembering when he retells his memories. He is very upset by sounds/distractions that disturb his recollection. Brilliant man but very stubbornly caught in his own world.

One of the best interviews I’ve seen with an actor, purely because Baldwin knows how to field terrible questions. “What’s your favourite role” is something a ten-year-old would ask. Questions aside, very entertaining.

The interviewer seemed stilted and obtuse. He just said he arrived from taking his daughter to the hospital, yet the interviewer goes straight to her notes about his brothers' acting careers.

The amazing thing about Alec is that he puts the common good above (and beyond !!) the self ! He's just such a trustworthy (and believable) person ... I admire and respect him for his insight, and ethical beliefs. In such a darned age when morals and social values are battered and viciously neglected and scuffed at, he's the glimpse of light at the end of the long, dark tunnel. And I believe he's wrong about political awareness of actors: there you have, Merryl Streep and his good-old self ! Loved to have watched this. Thanks.

Politics aside, this was an excellent interview. It's obvious that Mr. Baldwin felt more comfortable and was more candid addressing a non-American audience. As a Canadian, I'm concerned about a Trump-led United States and it was nice to hear that most Americans are too.

One last comment about how he handled the slippery questions on Woody Allen and Kevin Spacey... PERFECT. By the way, my heart goes out to Kevin Spacey (don't know what he does during the weekends !), but HE IS also a very socially conscious person, and has been very supportive of the suffering that Venezuelans have been subjected to, SINCE THE BEGINNING, even when Chavez was blubbering and puffing his way around, (early 2000's), and SPOKE OUT against him. Not like the infamous Glover or Sean Penn, who went courting the tyrant. Big PLUS for Kevin there.

Okay people he’s an actor. An Actors craft are Words. Don’t get so excited which is American public’s issue #1 = celebrity worship! Is he good at reciting back “other “ people’s words given to him, yes. Is he somewhat attractive, yes. But at the end of the day, he’s in a profession where people continuously make themselves up and are made up, and where ALL take themselves way too seriously. And recall have a 100-person entourage all devoted to making them look good. Way too verbose and suspect the “ actor” Alec is probably not all too much like the “ real” one, if there even is a real one. or why all the law suits - just saying.

I think it is important that men contribute to the conversation about gender issues, for example #metoo, as an opportunity for them to learn. But men need to understand that they have no relevance in terms of authority of experience and truth of women. Alec Baldwin does not understand this at all. It also seems he has no understanding of the complexities of incest, the horror, shame, disbelief, denial involved. Most people do not tell. I cannot imagine the courage it takes to be from a famous family and, in the face of your siblings' disbelief and the disdain of the fans of the abuser, hold to your truth, year after year. Hopefully, he will learn.
