this makes no sense, all news reports were the ad handed him the gun, and that she was never allowed inside the church due to covid concerns, and that she and her cart were right outside the door of the church. is he leaving the ad out of the statement for some reason ?

I noticed that too. Joel Souza, the director who was injured, also said that the armorer handed Alec the gun, but the armorer said that she handed it to the AD.

Alec really reminds me of my narcissistic uncle. Talks nonstop to make himself sound smarter and more superior to everyone in the room. Man Alec tells the truth about not checking the weapon for live rounds to make sure it was a cold gun but lies his ass off about not pulling the trigger how dumb does he think law enforcement, DA the people in the world are?!!! Especially us vets and police officers and hunters and gun dealers and hole sale's people and armors and prop masters. I mean he didn't load the weapon or bring the rounds In and the film property but he did not check the weapon and he pointed at 2 people. Then he pulls back on the hammer and squeezes the trigger. He is being filmed doing it his finger is on the trigger. He is guilty of man slaughter!

@@BudFuddlacker any functioning fire arm should be thoroughly checked for proper conditions by both the person who prepared it and the person using it. If not, you shouldn’t be anywhere near guns. Also with a real functioning gun, you NEVER point it at another person, even when ‘acting’.

@@BudFuddlacker It wasn't the middle of a "scene" it was an impromptu rehearsal, they weren't filming, gun should have been empty and Alec shouldn't have handled it without mandatory on set safety check. Many actors insist on doing it themselves, it takes less than a minute. Since armour was not present, shut down the set if Alec can't check, safety first.

You could argue its nothing more than a new paint job on a car. It'll come and it'll go. So that's why I dont appreciate tattoos as a form of art but see how some others do.

I'm surprised a real gun ever made it on set if all they're after is a flash and smoke. In the UK we can use blank-firing 1873 colts, but the barrel has a welded 3-hole plug at each end. Obviously, Baldwin has many haters, but I doubt he will get the focus of any blame when he isn't an experienced firearm user. Yes, the common method should be that he was shown crimped blanks or drilled, no-primer dummies being put into the gun just before he was handed it, but it looks like they went for the cheapest armourer they could get. This'll turn into an insurance nightmare, no doubt, and that side of the production will probably throw up a whole bunch of other big shocks.

Although I don't care for Mr. Baldwin (mostly because I see him as a narcissistic moronic fool), I don't believe he did anything malicious or intentional to murder and injure anyone on that set, I do however believe because of the narcissistic nature of Baldwin and those he surrounds himself with, and how that narcissism would make it impossible to recognize their group-competency levels were sub-standard, thereby their own incompetence and failure to address the potential for problems because of that low standard, led to the resulting death and injury of persons on their set. Honestly, it makes me question the absence of reporting of any other injury during the course of any other past production which involved Baldwin and his crew, as I have a feeling many "close-calls" have happened before.

WOW Baldwin is lying his ass off to police. One Hannah did not had him the weapon the Assistant Director Hall handed him the weapon. 2 he pulled the trigger! Who ever knows about single action revolvers knows that pulling back the hammer and taking off your thumb will not make the hammer go forward striking the firing pen then ingniring the primer. That's from 4 years as a Marine recon sniper and police officer and security officer and a hunter. I own a 1868 Colt Army 44 magnum single action revolver.

The people who watched that drunken fool walk in also need to be fired because they allowed this to happen. That is our private business. The only time crime is my business is when I or anybody close I know is involved or you escaped from jail or prison. That's the ONLY time this is our business. I don't see who this educational. The only educational I see is how to beat the cops at their own game like the TV Show Interrogation Raw. Plus, Cop shows reality or fantasy, should not be for entertainment. They are very very very ♾️ serious. And when you put something on TV which is for entertainment purposes only, you're making a joke out of something so serious.
