You came at perfect timing, I was like what happened to my home girl, years ago when I first was on my organization journey, (before Marie Condo) but I fell off and I’m tryna get back on track, moving forward in year 2020, between physical, mental, spiritual organization and decluttering. So when I saw this I was like this is god sent especially since yesterday I literally just watched your video again! for the first time since years ago when you first posted about paper decluttering, especially at this time in my life between trying to mange work, school, relationships...etc (I’m talking a lot sorry for that I just had to let it out)

Writing down the definition on the document of what I need to do to make that action happen has really been great information for me. I consider every “action needed problem document” a two-part, two-step solution -one is to just write down on a note what I need to do to make that document disappear or get fixed or handled and then I can quit. Then step two, I come back and all I have to do is follow what I’ve written down, so it makes it super simple. This was really life-changing for me. Now I don’t procrastinate and it’s almost like figuring out a puzzle in the first step and putting the easy puzzle together in the second step. Thank you so much.🙌

great tips. one suggestion. If i have a shredder bin, it will build and build and then I have to schedule in time to shred this bin full of paper. I keep a shredder under my desk where your bin would be. Then just shred it immediately instead of putting in the the bin. then you don't have this big pile of paper to shred. saves one step. You still have to occasional empty the shredder but it takes seconds to shred right then.

I love these tips! I have entire old huge kitchen table for project I'm working on. You probably can't see the surface but I know each pile, bin, and book. I allow myself to look disorganized looking because I like to spread out my binder book project. However my active office desk downstairs I'm trying very hard to keep top priority and tidy. So far I've saved entire 30 gallon worth of recycling papers to finally take out in just 3 weeks.

BTW, I am lazy so I bought a quick and easy to use shredder and just put it where I bring in my mail and I either shred things on the spot or ask one of the children to do it. They like shredding. Then use the regular trash and recycling bins in my kitchen for the rest of the needless paper.
