Even if I had aqua coloured dividers in my junk drawer, there would be paper clips in the rubber bands, half broken pens, corks from champagne bottles and a layer of rumpled up receipts on top of everything else. Not to mention my scissors would never be there because my husband would have borrowed them and never put them back...

Kitchen is too big! You may laugh at that! When I was married we built a big home. Very large kitchen. Spent too much time walking! Seriously! I like the sink and cooktop to have a contiguous countertop…not across the floor. A corner is perfect! And the fridge on the other side of the sink…another corner. With a butcher block behind the sink. THAT was my favorites kitchen! When you stand at the sink the butcher block is behind you; the fridge to your right; gas range to your left. Kitchen table and chairs beyond butcher block (which also has high stools.) And a long counter (mine was about 5 feet) with small sink and disposal that was auxiliary sink; bar sink; the counter that got the mail and stuff but NOT actually IN THE KITCHEN! It was BRILLIANT! It also had a fireplace catty corner but not necessary. That counter was normal counter height with cabinets underneath where I kept vases and a raised backsplash. I put a small TV there as I lived alone. I LOVED LOVED LOVED that kitchen! It was about 15 feet wide and from main sink to small sink about 20 feet. But the WORKING kitchen was about 15 x 17. PLENTY BIG!

I appreciate how organised she is, however I don't find any of her house particularly stylish. I work from home and I find being in a comfortable, pretty space more inspiring than a pen being in the right place.. finding a balance between both is key I think

I think her home is well styled. From the outside you wouldn't know how organized it was.. not unless you actually opened a drawer or cabinet. Her bedroom looks like something out of a magazine. The only room that really screamed to me "I LOVE ORGANIZING" is her office. And that would make sense since she is a professional organizer. Essentially, I think she achieved the balance you speak of.
