Thomas C I wouldn't say he's nothing without Crosby, I mean you don't have the success he's getting without being good as it is, sure having Crosby helps, but I've seen great play by Guentzel himself. Like that OT goal he had against the Florida Panthers the other night was a great individual effort.

Barber has NHL-level hands in drills but not NHL-level skating, shooting or awareness. He is still a very good hockey player and one of the best you will find in beer leagues. I'm sure he can beat quite a few NHLers in stick handling in drills but drills do not translate to a game. The faster the game is, the harder it is to stick handle at that pace. I notice when I play A (top level) beer leagues, I do much less "dangling" than I do in B or C-level beer leagues. In B/C I get much more time to think, making it much easier for me to multitask. This is why "Nasher" looks like he is good but by judging by his beer league opponents, he wouldn't have made MD level hockey in Canada. I'm sure Barber would very much agree with my comment :P

First time I did the fake between the legs shot on to backhand (4:28) was back in 93 when I was 16yrs old. Wasn't as efficient as it would be today since most goalies I tried that on would over bite on the initial between the legs move. I hand pretty slick hands but the mittens that players & kids have now a days is unreal though but I've never been a fan of the illegal Rob Schremp shootout moves.
