Thank you for reacting to this wonderful song, one of my favorites by Zhao Shen. I listen to a lot of Asian music, especially South Korean and Chinese, but I only recently discovered this wonderful artist. I am obsessed with his angelic and at the same time powerful voice, with which he manages to create beautiful and enchanted soundscapes. I like his contagious passion for singing and music; his ability to convey emotions (even when we don't understand the lyrics); the tenacity with which he managed to transform what many thought was his weakness into his strength. Her beautiful, kind smile. Some say that the search for technical perfection kills emotion. Zhou Shen is the perfect example of the opposite. Please react to the song “Ring the doorbell”.

I'm glad you liked it. Zhou Shen is a guy, BTW. Here is some info about him: Zhou Shen started early with singing, joined the school choir and won the first place repeatedly in choir competitions. But when he hit puberty his voice didn't significantly change. Since he still sounded like a girl in middle school he was ridiculed by his classmates and they were calling him names. Because of the discrimination he experienced, he became more and more silent. He didn't sing on stage for three years in junior high school. Fortunately he regained confidence and was able to make his uniqueness his strength. He studied Bel Canto at the Ukrainian Conservatory of Music and today he is one of the most popular singers in China. Zhou Shen plays the piano, guitar and clarinet. He can speak several foreign languages: English, Ukrainian, Russian, Italian, French and Polish and he sings in even more languages. I love his angelic voice. He can sing in a deeper register too, but he usually prefers to sing in his head voice/falsetto. "Zhou" is pronounced like "Joe" with the J sounding a bit sharper like the "Ch" in Charlie. Charlie is Zhou Shen's Western name. 🙂

This young man is “Charlie” ZHOU Shen. Mr. Zhou is angelic, pure, kind, and beautiful both inside and outside. It is heartbreaking to hear about his extraordinary challenges and struggles growing up. He has been caricatured, insulted, and made fun of because of his smaller physical statue and his unique singing voice. He has tolerated all those with dignity and respect. He maintains an upbeat spirit and works very hard to a grow and advance professionally. It is great that he is being recognized by fans both in China/HK/Macao/Taiwan and overseas. He has come a long way. I am a true fan of this nice kid. He is a great singer and stage performer.

Zhou Shen has a unique teenage voice and his vocal range is even higher than that of female singers. This special voice caused him to be bullied as a student and even suppressed when he first started singing. But I think beautiful singing has no distinction between nationality, gender and age. He sang "This Is Me" on New Year's Eve the year before last, "Just Like Fire" on New Year's Eve last year, and "Unstoppable" this year. It can be seen that as more and more people appreciate him and he becomes more confident. ​

ZShen is just a class act, godsent. Evry once in a long while, someone sensational like hm comes along to mesmerise us. He hs vocal abilities par excellence, way, way above many of d acclaimed good singers. And he is v versatile in d types of songs he covers. My favourites are Ring d doorbell, Big fish, Baby, Brightness, My Only, Memory (english). Mind you, he also sings great duets wth othr singers.

I recommend you react also, 1. "Listen" the song written for the hawker family in Chongqin who hear less of parents and their daughter who take photos by a photographer and hot in China now, very pure sound and touching. 2. a Mongolian song he song with a Mongolian singer, "the night of Ulaanbaatar", 3.
