When I saw it for the first time, I thought that Remix`s second round with a counter, and insane ending was a legit thing to consider that he won, but watching it again, I think Osis was more pleasent to hear, he showed amazing quality, structure, volume control. It same like in a Kaji vs Wing battle, the more times you listen, the more you appreciate clean routines over the powerful display.

@@stefanm.1961 I am not a judge, and I don`t have a judgement system cryterias. It is just mine opinion, that composition of Osis was better. Wing was pleasent, but if we compare to Osis, Osis showcased much more beats, had faster tempo in his sets. Wing took his time to showcase highest quality, but for both rounds he tried to cool down the hyped crowd after Kaji`s showcase. Imo, that worked against Wing, and Kaji won the battle for the crowd, which should be a valuable point (even tho it is a hometown crowd for Kaji).

I feel like Remix shoots himself in the foot with his own sounds. Feels to spammy for me. Al ways the same duck sound. Maybe Im the only one but if he would time he's power sounds better, it would work for his advantage. Also if people say Osis sound are the same all the time, he always has a song like flow/round compared to some people who spam their power sound mostly.

This battle deserves at least overtime. Remix maybe repeats the sounds but they are way cleaner, louder and structured than the rounds of Osis in my opinion. (If that makes sense :D)

bro I actually do believe there is a mic difference.. Like in quarter finals we had osis v Helium and we all know from previous battles that helium is one of the loudest on that gbb stage. Yet he sounded almost quiet compared to sis last time. this time after Remix ended his round I almost couldn't even hear Osis anymore it's a bit strange. I quarterfinals Otis was on left side and in this one he is on the right side. Even D-Low pointed that out during every single battle the right one appress more quiet

Remix was just freestyled it, didnt mean freestyle wasn't good, but for me it was just not proper for using freestyle for the build up for his style. Need a harmony build up for the big drops like that.

i think it's Remix, cause next to the technical part, i fee like remix had the crown with him during his parts. he also had the better drops, most of the time in my opinion. I do thin that Osis's fills were absolutely insane. Conclusion: Remix was better overall, bass wise, crowd wise and technically it is really close! Great battle to see, honestly!

For me Osis wins because of his creativity of his routines. Round 1, smoke. The lyrics are fire. Cannot penetrate the smoke. Also really great integration of this lyrics in his drops. “Smoooooooke” part. Round 2, dancing in the acid rain, almost the most swaggy lyrics I’ve ever heard. The round hits hard, has a fluent flow, and maintains the emotion throughout the round. Remix is insane, but maybe a bit less creative than osis. Live, I thought remix won, but later I thought about it, and watched this video, Osis win for me. Just my opinion❤

For me it was Remix who took the win judging by the video. Remix’s sounds were very full with interesting dynamics in his high and low sounds. Even though he was using the same sounds, he WAS doing different techniques with them. Whenever 2 competitors sound “repetitive” I always leave it to styles and how well they executed their rounds. Plus the crowd helps me in making my decision. And as a last resort, I just make a subjective choice in who’s beats I liked better 😅 But it was definitely the closest battle so far. I loved Osis’ flow in the second round and his weird but cool technical style really hits and makes you wanna wave your hands up and down and headbang lol At the end of the day, for this battle, Power won against technicality. It was on a different scale from Kaji vs Wing battle though because this time the battle REALLY WAS CLOSE 😮 Hope my opinion helps, Alem 😁

Here we have two future GBB winners, I think. I wish them both patience, because that's obvious that they put everything they have currently in their performances, used the best tracks, the best skills. And at the moment everyone know's them prety much to wait from them more next years. This is a chalenge, let's be honest. But I wish them to be only inspired by this experience. This was the battle of two opposites of soundscapes for me. Remix has generally low freauencies orientation with some kind of unstopable storm of sounding. And Osis has his unque sound kit with mostly middle frequencies orientation and really specific playing with timing, pauses and placements. However, they are both quit outstanding and they are produsing some new wave of beatboxing that stands not on genres like hip-hop, electronic music and so on. For me, their beats and tracks are based on some rock or metal routs. Something like core and alternative metal. Structure of the beats are really quit same.

I find that remix uses the same types of sounds ( inward bass - vibration - same fillers ...) but osis on the other hand always comes with insane drops and flows that make the crowd go crazy and his complex sounds are so consistent but remix is less consistent on the stage somtimes he change his mic position while beatboxing what makes his sounds hit less on the mic and he loose the momentum thats why i think osis deserved the win .

It was remind me back then to Audical (idk i love this name better) vs Inertia. Which is insanely similar style, similar technic, a bit different flow, and ofc they have their own Basses which is unique from each one of them. And now, Remix vs Osis, i felt the same. Full bass style, great flow, Osis give me more variety than Remix. But damn, that battle was insane in this generation.

Live remix won, post processed osis won. Live remix was substantially more powerful, it felt like 2021 inertia, except with more technicality and better drops throughout full routines. Osis was much quieter than portrayed here, almost equal, but live it was easily remix with more power, and captivated the crowd in a special way this GBB. Since the judges had the headphones this year they were able to listen to the technicality and take most of the live feel out of the judging when it came to power, at least here. Remix was repetitive, but that's his sound, like osis, they have their unique sounds they spam in different routines.. So idk, for me remix should have won in the event, but not disappointed with it.

In my opinion if Remix went second he would’ve won, let me explain. Osis’s second round had more “typical” drops with sounds like clickroll and inward tooth roll (?) which he knows couldn’t be countered. Osis made 1 mistake that I could hear (failing his whistle smile bass combo) and Remix was slightly more repetitive so I’d say these cancel eachother out. Super close battle and I think Osis going second is what determined it.

For me Remix, because his control over his sounds is amazing! The chuckle sound with inward base combo is quite unique and tough to pull off, specially on a big platform like GBB where the pressure is high, and Remix did it so clean. Osis' sounds were also crazy, his technicality and flow is on a different level. But for me, I could easily buy Remix's rounds.
