I think with napom he has so many crazy micro-beats that are super high quality and his freestyles are usually him combining them on the spot and the secret is to just have that many of them

I think that ability to freestyle like this really shows another level. Napom is my favourite when it comes to battling. His sounds are so refined that it surely helps, but I think there is more. You can see how is Napom reacting on the stage. He is thinking about beat to do, how he will continue from there, etc. You aslo have to be really expirienced in battling to do it like that. And Napom doesn't care, he just drops his beat. He really well knows what he can do, or what his oponent can not. If you find a way how to learn that, then I think you can have even different style than Napom. For example D-low. I think that lot of beatboxers are crazy at freestyling but they lack the confidence. Napom always goes hard and the fact that he freestyles so much means, you don't know what may come. He is legend for a long time and he is still evolving. So many beats, so many patterns, so many combos, so many sounds so many genres he can do. Ofcourse he can freestyle however he wants to. Alem is also realy good at freestyling: Love for ALEM:::

good reason for that is napom used to beatbox in clubs and house parties and stuff iirc so he knows how to freestyle and get people moving

Vino is such a clean vibey beatboxer. he did so well in this competition as for napom what needs to be said about him. he had an amazing year this year. napom's power is every beatboxer's guilty pleasure lol. just cant get enough. and he keeps getting better.....

I like what you said there at the end about freestyles. liproll-combos (especially with sub) are a save ‘wow’ factor when you have the sound quality of Napom. It’s harder to get the same reaction with more percussive styles imo. But it’s possible! Your TKs are also one of a kind (and made me scream more than once) and I still believe your energy on stage is unmatched!!

Yes Alem it's possible with your style. When you do stuff apart from the battles, you're very creative and place things in great way but when you start a battle you just go on one thing, apart from that you go for more things which makes possible for you to do freestyle like that with your style. Believe me you're gonna slayy it because i believe in you.🌷🙂

I think one style that can free style good is King Inertia, the crazy bass, and his kit is so large, I would just love to see if King Inertia would ever do some crazy freestyle on stage!

Napom has a high battle IQ. Same way of pro fighters have fight IQ. Being able to adapt and adjust to your opponent and really being present and knowing what’s happening in the battle.

I think you're right saying that some styles are not that good for freestyling. Imagine Gene doing random stuff on stage. I can guarantee that wouldn't work at all, since his style is mostly based on structure therefore making it sound extremely good. Chaos fits Napom's style very well, since it's a literal earthquake. However guys that build their style around music and structure couldn't pull that off even if they were good at freestyling. Simply doesn't work.
