Bizkit did the high sound at the beginning only because he wanted to annoy Mirsa. In case you didn't understand, Mirsa talked shit about Bizkit on discord and said that his style is trash and his sound design (mostly the high sounds) are shit.. so Bizkit decided to do a disstrack on him and start it with the thing Mirsa hates the most: the high sounds of Bizkit. Bizkit messed up Mirsa's mind and to my opinion it was a really good battle move.

The DT770 headphones you're wearing have notoriously harsh treble, so I imagine Bizkit's rounds would be tough on the ears with them.

I have DT770 pro too, and I didn't find it that harsh. Maybe I am more to listening to weird songs that have high pitch (such as Aphex Twin - Ventolin)

i feel like it was really entertaining to watch live, the songs created suspense well so it was a good first few times watch you know. very entertaining drops and really in my opinion the most criteria set as a good battle for gbb this year

very vibey but also in the battle aspect it was not shown properly as it was a long intro and seemed like he had some mistakes as from what other loopers said, and he also wasted more time overtime even though he had 3:40 seconds to display his music, he also mentions bizkit having extra time but I find it hilarious as he failed to display his full rounds from Mirsa. Bizkits last round was just remarkable of battle display and just bouncy.

Both first and second rounds from both participants were not as good as I expected (I'm talking with 0 looping experience and everything I say is just based on my own preference) but I think Bizkit was more battly, that's why I had to give it to him. Besides, I think both had some technical problems during the event, so I must say they both did great !

the 'technical problems' are that there are lights on the loopstation when you press them but mirsa couldnt see them/ his werent lighting up so as this is the first loopstation battle of gbb 23 you will hear scott jackson (the guy who introduces the loopers) ask for the lights to be lowered in the next battle which is Dice vs Robin if youre curious
