The tree of life is represented by the ARBOR VITAE or myelin in the cerebellum. there will be no carnal left hemisphere for the two shall become one as LUZ (Bethel which was once called Luz) Luz means ALMOND in Hebrew which is a one piece SEED and not a 2 halved nut. The cerebellum is the brains control center with much of it's design laid out in Numbers 13.

Would the LORD God be so short sighted as to place a tree free to eat from (giving eternal life), that allows Adam to ignore Elohim’s commandment without worry of the death consequence?

I believe that one sin demonstrated by Adam is the exhortation from the very beginning, to heed God’s warnings not to add, subtract fro His WRITTEN TORAH. God knew He’d give Israel His Torah and wanted us to know the existential urgent mission to obey but we and you and everyone make Adam’s sin with total abandon and without conscience or even consciousness !

The torah does not tell us what the tree of life is. It does tell us what the other tree is, its the "tree of knowledge of good and evil". Since even Eve was confused and tricked of what tree was in the center of the garden, her knowledge of what she thought was right, not what she absolutely knew was right, got her kicked out of the garden. Knowledge of good and evil is not enough to get you to do the right thing, to pick the correct fruit. Heck even when you know something is bad you might do it. So, gobbling up knowledge of whats good or evil is not what brings you life. Adam gained the knowledge he was naked but it was god who clothed him. Since the Torah does not tell you what the tree of life is, what it means. Un like the tree of The Knowledge of good and evil. You have to find it and not be tricked by knowledge. Knowledge alone does not give you life. Seek life, where it comes from, where its going, how to heal it keep it, make it happy. This is a great series.

Jesus said There are 5 trees in Paradise. these are represented by 5 locations in the brain referenced as trees in symbolism. the olive, the pine, the almond, the fig and the arbor vitae. the bible is a blueprint of the Adamic brain and spine all in symbolism as a parable.

Father, penuel ,pineal, Son Bethlehem pituitary and in Zech6 hypothalamus= counsel of peace. The bible is a PARABLE showing a blueprint of the human brain as God revealed this in 2017. We are in the time where knowledge is increased. Jesus is Lord.
