If your familiar with the Gnostic story of the Pistis Sophia, this song seems to fit that story pretty well in my opinion. A quick summary of that story is that a divine feminine being fell from the higher realms for a horrible mistake. She became arrogant and wanted to be like the true creator and create on her own without her divine consort. She fled the heavens abandoning her divine consort going into the outer darkness below where she thought she would be out of sight of the divine. In her attempt to create on her own she created a monster that in turn stole her power when she tried to face it and fix her mistake. It used her power to create the world in this realm of outer darkness and chaos. It created legions of other monsters to serve it. In it's blind ignorance it proclaimed itself to be the most high. She told that being that it was a liar. The being and it's minions tortured her ruthlessly defiling her but she never lost hope, and continued to cry prayers of repentance to true creator. Her cries seemingly fall upon deaf ears. She starts to lose hope. She loses her way from time to time and falls into a dark path. Seemingly accepting her fate as a goddess of darkness and chaos now. But she never completely gives up hope and keeps finding her way back to the light and keeps crying out to the true creator for repentance. This basically happens a total of 13 times each time her torture by the monster she created getting worse and more severe, before she is finally deemed worthy of forgiveness and brought out of the darkness and back into the heavenly realms of light.
