My Christmas has taken on a whole different vibe the last two years. My husband of 47 years passed away, and he loved Christmas so much. I'm going to have to come up with a whole new way to decorate to make not only my love of Christmas shine, but to keep him and his love of Christmas with us! He loved the Christmas tree. It had to be large and alive! He said he wanted a tree in every room of the house. I am going to have one of some kind in every room of the house! Your home and decor is lovely. Enjoy every moment!❤

Looks lovely. You are actually my future inspiration… as I’m not quite ready to purge all my maximalist decorations as if yet. But, when I do - I love your simple nostalgic organic approach on your Christmas decor. It evokes a time in how people weren’t so commercialized and decorated there homes before Hobby Lobby and Michael’s came to be. It’s beautiful and elegant and still reflects Christmas in the spirit for which it’s intended.

I still have toys from the 50’s lol. I did get rid of some this yr since my kids don’t want them. We also used to string popcorn and cranberries along with paper chains on our trees. I still like a nostalgic look for my tree too, good job!

When I clicked on your video, the book was the first thing that caught my eye. I bought a copy of that same book in 1994. I had to pull it from my shelf and sit and look at it again. I love Victorian and country decorating and use a lot of the burgundy and greens throughout the year. You are very talented decorating. I just loved everything but my favorite is the hall tree with the caroling theme. It brought back memories of our choir from church visiting our older members and singing carols. They enjoyed it and sang a long but it gave us such a blessing. I hope you can find an antique caroling book. Beautiful job! 🤶🏻🎄
