Thanks! They’re not too expensive as far as synths go, $600-700. Totally worth it to pick one up!

I'm blown away how the old $50 drum machine is more inspiring than the brand new MPC ONE PLUS $700.00 thing that sits on my desk unused, unloved.

The MPC looks amazing, just maybe a bit complicated. I’m sure you could learn the gear and find some sounds that inspire you and make something amazing with it. But there is something about older tech and the straightforwardness and simplicity of it.

Great bro! Can You explain how set up the Alesis to the minilog please? Thanks

Pretty simple, just midi out from the keyboard to midi in on the drum machine. Make sure they’re on the same midi channel, and the bpm should sync on them. Reverse depending on which device you want to be slave. Thanks for listening!

Thank you! Just playing with the arpeggiator. Can’t remember exactly how I hooked them up, but the Minilogue was the master controller.
