cna the alesis multipad PLAY MIDITRACKS? So It sends the pc messages to other devices?? i'm looking forward to not bring a computer to every show ;C

My shorts answer would be yes! But u hace to use a single user kit for every single backing track...if ur band plays 60 songs u need 60 user Kits ...i also recomend that backintrack to have click and that should be panned L or R obvioulsy... And load the backintrack 2 times in the ASM one panned R in the Main to the PA and another panned L (the click) via aux and that route could ve send to your in ear monitor..

In the video you use MIDI Channel 1 to send the program change data. Is that because you just chose that channel and had then selected channel 1 as the Midi To channel in Ableton OR does this Program Change Function only work in Channel 1. If the later, this seems weird. ANSWER TO MY OWN QUESTION - you can use any channel as long as the Global MIDI Channel in Alesis is set the same as the Midi To channel in Ableton (i.e. it works like normal midi - as it should!). Also I just use a Midi Channel with an empty clip without the external instrument set up as shown in the video (I'm on Ableton 10.1.43) and just add the program changes as per the video.

how to change latency settings in alesis strike multipad?i am having latency issues.I mean i am getting quite late response. as i change from one preset file to another,its taking time.so how to fix that.and also tell me about the latency settings too
