Really, really beautiful. Grand how an apparently simple but beautiful monophonic line slowly gets spliced up into multi layers of notes with different pitch and timbres. The video giving a visual parallel impression. Pure craftsmanship. What i don't understand however, is why any ambient piece on youtube these days should end, or be completely filled, with bitcrushing and granularity. Ok, these can have their charm, but should not be mandatory in every composition.

This song reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend not long ago. "We're all gonna die someday." "Don't say something like that." "Well it's true." "It is but.." And then one guy who has been quiet for a while, suddenly said: "Don't you think that's romantic? The idea that death is inevitable and we have such a short time to explore, embrace, be sad, be happy, inhale, exhale. And after that, it's all just mystery. I think that's beautiful."

For some reason, this piece makes me think of the film "Silent Running", I imagine one last dome floating out into space. Endless, courseless, "insignificant", but as powerful and important as anything there ever was, or will be. Out there, somewhere... I feel like this album is one of, if not your best work to date, Mr. Cortini. It is heart wrenchingly beautiful.
