I didn’t know Alessandro Cortini was in the nine inch nails. I follow a lot of ambient artists and he was suggested. Right before covid he toured in my city and I thought I should see him. I was stunned by this presentation. It was so immense and powerful, I wanted to rest for a moment in between the films. My date asked me if everything was alright because I felt like I would need to lay on the ground- I remember that I was resting my hands on my knees and feeling overwhelmed. SABBIA in particular was so impactful. As the track emerges and bells uplift you - a voice is presented to you -this broken voice. It’s such a pained and forthright melody. Like a statement, brutally honest. Beautiful performance, I will never forget. That night started me on my journey of compositions. Thanks Alessandro 🤝

Thank you. Your artistic expression creates in me such a sense of calm, acceptance of the world I find myself in, and reluctant optimistic hope that everything is ok and that’s ok. Thank you once again for helping me feel. I needed that today. You are a wonderful human, I appreciate you.

8 years into making music and I still get that in awe feeling when I hit that right note or lead, you must have been blown away after completing this. I got that feeling in the second time playing this. And your drums fit into it perfectly. I always find it hard to add drums after spending hours creating an atmosphere of sounds. I think after listening I need to step back from so much intricate percussion and let the synth speak for itself like you did on this track.
