2016 I met my daughters mother. She was broken and hurting. I patiently waited as I watched her grow and regain her confidence. I sent this song to her and made her listen to it every day. This song was the foundation she stands on now. 2018, our beautiful daughter was born. Even though we are not together anymore, we co parent. We don't fight. We don't argue. We may have disagreements, but we never yell at each other. My daughter has a strong mother to look up too. A few days ago, my daughter asked if I would play this song in the car. I asked her, "how do you know this song?" She replied, "mommy listens to this song every day." In that moment, I broke. Just knowing that I sent this song over 6yrs ago to my daughters mother and she still listens to it means everything to me. Now my daughter loves to sing this.
