These new bikes were ripping on course today! Stages were fun but a huge amount of uphill and pedalling within them made for a day of exhaustion. A long day ahead for race day with mega liason times for S1-2 and S3-4, it’s gonna be more epic than the Epic Bike Park Leogang! Stay tuned.

Looks like flat tyres may play a big part in the finishing positions. It will be difficult to determine the tradeoff of a burley enough tyre to withstand the rock bashing but not so heavy as to be slow on the uphill pedals and traversing.
