The first sanvers's scene show their complicity. Finally we have very promising intimate scenes. And boom, the last scene announce a classic and totally contradictory breakup with their story. There was so much better to make even with the departure of Florina Lima. I'm very mad of the scriptwriters!

ATTENTION SANVERS FANS. The actress Florina Lima is leaving Supergirl to go play the dead wife of a character on Lethal Weapon. That is why Sanvers is breaking up. She CHOSE/ASKED to leave, that's why they are writing her off. This isn't some conspiracy to ruin the gay Ship. This is BUSINESS. So instead of killing her off, Alex and Maggie are breaking up, and doing so over a issue that causes a lot of couples to break up both straight and LGBT. Again the ACTRESS IS LEAVING THE SHOW, this isn't the Supergirl Writer's fault. Alex will eventually get a new boo thang don't stress

ATTENTION: Floriana isn’t leaving because she’s going to play a role in Lethal Weapon. She isn’t even going to be in the new season of LW. We know her decision is ultimately hers, but with the help of the shitty writing, her little to no screentime, I’m pretty sure it played a role. We’re angry in the way the writers/creators have been going about the break up. They’ve been saying “modern” and “honoring their relationship.” How are these constant petty fights “honoring” their rs and how is the excuse going to be about kids, when Alex has never even showed a remote interest in kids. It’s so ooc. Not only that, they’re ruining Maggie’s character on her way out and it’s pretty shitty. Alex hooking up/kissing someone after 3 episodes (xover) is unfair to the fandom when Alex doesn’t even get to “feel” the wedding getting called off and losing her fiancée and then you have Kara who gets to do all that.

Also the issue among fans isn't just because she's leaving. Its the fact that she has next to no screen time while they build up a relationship between her and Alex to an anticlimactic moment of them breaking up and her leaving that we all know is inevitably going to happen. Its not that she's being written out. Its the way in which the writers have chosen to poorly write her out. A way in which is a disservice to a couple that they have supposedly backed from the very beginning

Episode 3 is super Maggie centric, and the end of their relationship plays out in the next 3 episodes. It's been 2 episodes give it time. We have to take care of our maiin character Kara first, we will get to Maggie next week.

Do you have to show interest in kids to want them? Generally speaking man or woman, people usually assume kids are in your future especially when you are in a committed relationship. I could see Alex wanting kids since she has such a close relationship with Kara and she's in this great relationship with the woman she loves. Why wouldn't she want kids with Maggie? I'm straight and I'd want kids with Maggie, they'd be beautiful with those dimples. Maggie on the other hand had a terrible childhood so I could see her not wanting kids. She also had a lot of issues being in committed relationships so it makes sense. Besides, they are going to start the desolution of Maggie and Alex's marriage in the next episode so it'll be emotional and hopefully fulfilling

Hello Bye yes it’s real. Episode 5 this season. They break up because Alex wants kids and Maggie doesn’t. It’s an amicable breakup and then something happens with Alex and Sara (from Legends of Tomorrow) during the xover episodes, hence Caity (Lotz) and Chyler doing that live video about them not writing the episodes that they just act out the material they are given.
