Thanks, Darneloh. Yes, he has lots of links in Google on the internet -- it's clear he did have an active career. He passed away at only age 50, but what an inspiring life!

Others can tell you more about him, but I can say that he did have a distinguished career in gospel. He was a notable performer as well as songwriter. I enjoy the drama and depth of his voice.

Does anyone know the members of the Bradford SIngers accompanying Alex? That is true, pure gospel and definitely Chicago style. Can you see the Roberta Martin influence. I wonder what would have happened is Roberta chose Alex as a member of the group?
