I was here!! We were all crying and singing along with the last part cause it was so true. The audience was mainly college students from out of town but some of us were from New Orleans. Our past and childhood are disappearing so fast here as the city undergoes so many changes due to natural disasters, changing population, and economic problems. I came to this show with my two best friends since high school and I had no idea at the time that I would have a massive fight with one of my best friends a few months later. We haven’t spoken in months… I don’t like how things change. 💔⛈

omggg )):: i was here too & also from nola i feel you so deeep!!...the whole time..the whole show all i could think about was how things have changed. by the time they played this song i was so caught up in my emotions i didnt even think of the irony it was for them to close with this song.. literally went alone and watched my friends below (i was on the balcony) have fun without me cause we dont talk anymore but we all loooved alex g in highschool...also just feeling how different i am now compared to then, the last time i saw him perform in 2017 here....so many changes, learning to like them tho~ i hope things are okay w you and your friend tho. thats tough, i know it
