I had an amazing connection with this girl. It was definitely, and still is, the strongest I’ve ever felt about somebody. She moved away, but made me a mixtape before she did. This was the first song on it, and recently i’ve been listening to this on repeat, thinking about her in that way where the combined feelings of happiness at my memories and sadness of her being gone mix together into a sort of nostalgic melancholy. I miss her so much.

you'll figure it out man, don't worry, I'm in a similar boat. lots of folks will surround themselves with people that will destroy their soul or keep it complacent. instrospection lends itself into sincerity and it can easily erode irony if you let it. life is not so black and white as some people make it seem. I stopped talking to everyone last year, except one person, and it's been pretty hard but for some reason I keep on trucking. some people try to reach out but only once. keep those who truly love you close, once you find them.
