Alex was deeply into all of those scenes, but like the most skilled perverts, pretended to NOT be into it, and deeply uncomfortable so that the other person is more likely to lean into the encounter. And people going forward are more likely to try to, "Make him uncomfortable', for the laughs. He didn't go for the lips because he thought he couldn't make himself appear not into that, so best to protect the persona of not being into it, than being outed as the closet pervert he actually is.

When someone states an opinion as if it were a fact, it is referred to as "asserting" or "making an unsupported assertion". In logical and critical thinking, it can also be considered a "false assertion" or "fact-claim fallacy", especially if the opinion is presented without supporting evidence. This type of statement can also fall under the broader category of a "rhetorical fallacy" or "misrepresentation."

@@creatinker you mean like you just did? It's obvious to anyone with a cognitive function stack that includes Extroverted Feeling, and Extroverted Sensing. Alex is an INFJ cognitive type, his virtue is integrity his vice is hypocrisy, his primary failing is Lust, and he wrote the challenges knowing these would be potential outcomes. He created the show and comes up with a lot of the tasks. He is also at least somewhat putting on a character, same as Greg Davies. It’s likely he is somewhat awkward and there’s definitely times he’s uncomfortable, but if it ever got to a point where he genuinely was too uncomfortable it would stop. He’s willing to go through some embarrassment for the sake of comedy.
