I like how she realized that there were 2 sides, that they were likely the same, and yet still gave an odd number as her answer. I knew the phone would have the answer; these challenges always has the answer somewhere. I love it when they are in a bunch of places, and nobody found it, and everyone finds out when watching the clips.

I think I'd just pray on the law of averages - count the dots down the length of the side, then multiply that by the dots across the top. Probably a better chance than correctly counting and maintaining said count lmao.

The 8 looks like the countdown clock you get in films so I think the camera probably contained the full number on a film... Just a guess

The 8 was a clue for the "Drink all the vinegar" challenge from a previous episode (the entire room was filled with "88" for that one). Some things in the room are just randomly there as decoy/to add to the atmosphere and they'll often reuse old props.

Another way to quickly ballpark it is to count all the spheres in a column x all spheres in a Row x 2 (because there are 2 sides) and you should be close. I got 35x25x2=1,750. I get they aren’t symmetrical, so it can differ widely, just try to find rows that don’t have the giant circle or only tiny ones. This also works on guessing how many jelly beans/ other objects in a container. If is a rectangular shape multiply a row on one side, a row on a side next to it, and a vertical column and multiply them.

Had the same thought, and 'guesstimated' around how much space the big blob took up. I landed on somewhere between 29x30x2 = 1740 and 30x30x2 = 1800. So I would probably have gone with the average of 1770.

It did say "this card" and not "the card on the table". Count the period points and dots on i's, so closer to a dozen.

The doorbell appears to be removed. In the shots outside the door, you can see the doorbell isn't in the normal spot. It's also, I think, a different doorbell sound than used elsewhere in the series.

I was hoping they would count the dots on the task card itself only if the task card itself counts as a card and since it said to count the dots on "this card" it would also make more sense. The end of sentences or the fullstop or period, itself is a dot, which would be on the task card and you would just count those which are easier.

what i would have done is count the ones in a line at one side and then the other side, then multiply then and X2 the result because there were two sides, and then round to the nearest 0. i have actually done it by freezing the image and counting only those areas and i got 1036, doubling that is 2072 so i would have said 2000. i doubt i would have use the phone, too busy counting and doing the rest of it
