Nelson, I think it's more about being a lover of one's music and respecting others than kicking someone's ass. Pretty sure Alex isn't motivated by being better than someone, rather being a great musician.

Paul is a great rock//blues-rock/shred guitarist & instructor, but i haven't seen him improvise over jazz harmony or jazz changes, doing some bebop & fusion phrasing, funky rhythmic stuff, country hybrid picking, multi-finger tapping, etc.

Just for comment ... the video made me remember a feature that has fishman triple play that triggers the orchestration when the musician preassigns a note ... example 12 frets / 6 string. ...and starts without problems. Not the case ... you have to have an FTP. (sorry my english)
