When Jone's lawyer "accidently" sent that text to the prosecutor and then was told by the prosecutor that he received that text and the defense lawyer basically didn't want to hear it then he has to be trying to get a mistrial. Some lawyers have no scruples whatsoever.

@@nANa-bq8xm well, he set himself up when he didn’t complete the discovery process correctly. In fact his goal was to do it incorrectly and aim to get a mistrial. So the fact it backfired is an act of justice. Main point is, the defense did a really bad job and was banking on getting a mistrial, however, by law, a mistrial isn’t given if defense wrongdoing is the reason. It makes sense that defense attorney can’t just screw up paper work and that makes their client go free. and even though he asked plaintiff to not use what he accidentally gave them, if you don’t give anything else then what else could plaintiff use? if defense attorney really wanted to fix it he could have, but he was banking on getting mistrial and failed. defense was purposely sabotaging the trial.

@@jamesmorrison7989 I have. The Lawyer in a case here in the City I live in was continually pulling "Stunts" in the Courtroom during a civil case and the Judge admonished him many times to "Stop Grandstanding" in hopes of showing the Jury that the proceedings were a Carnival. It got to be a joke with the local news channels pretty much opening their Newscasts with the latest in that day's court fiasco. The Lawyer ended up doing 93 days in County jail... was brought up on numerous charges relating to his lack of Decorum as a Practicing Lawyer. He acted quite similar to the actions of Alex Jones' Lawyer too.

@@TheStuport I would imagine he did one final action that got him a contempt charge. The judge didn’t continue letting him get away with actual contempt and then charge him once trial was over. That doesn’t even make sense. I’m not saying a lawyer can’t get a contempt charge. I’m saying they wouldn’t get the contempt charge postponed
