WOW! What a performance. I don't know why they don't really show this sport on cable here in Southeast Asia any longer. They used to have it almost every other weekend back in the early to mid 2000s. The San Miguel 9 ball tour, Mosconi, World championships etc......I recall seeing so many good Taiwanese and Filipino players back then. Don't see so many of them in the deeper stages these days.

I'm always amazed that Pool players move so much during a shot. Examples 16:55 is waaaaay to wobbly. 36:50 The back of the Cue stick came towards him mid stroke, resulting of a crooked end position of his Cue. 45:35 He changed the Cue angle after a few practice strokes. He had plenty of time to stand back up and try again. Kazakis had a proper posture during his strokes and therefor much more higher reliability shots. Deserved winner.

9:40.. always use your cue stick to measure when using the mirror system... You can easily see he opened his hand more.. use the tip of your stick at the object ball and mark the distance to the rail with your finger on your stick... Then when you put your tip at the rail your finger with already be at the aim point... This advice is for those just learning the system

I did not really enjoyed this match. Winner breaks format is an obsolete concept, it brings nothings to the promotion of the game to keep in his chair a player of the quality of SWB. Snapping the wing ball in the corner pocket at each break is also kind of predictable and boring. This should have been a hill hill suspenful match. It was rather an excellent demonstration from an excellent player on a very good day for him. I don't know if the nine ball was on the spot, if not it migh have helped to improve the match. Breaking from the box can also minimise to cut the head ball to the side pocket every time. This is my two bit opinion, I still enjoy the game at 75. Have a nice day. 🙂

Wow this is why they now created a new break rule where the 9 ball will be on the second diamond because this was ridiculous.
