Guitar pricing is a complicated thing. I was just looking at a wall of custom shop Les Paul's in a Canadian store here in Vancouver and man you have to be rich to buy one of those babies. Canadian dollars $7,000. $10,000. etc. Meanwhile on another wall they had a couple of those 59 Epiphones and they play beautifully. They sound great. They look fantastic. They have all kinds of great parts. $1,300. So when you're buying something like this you're just locking yourself into a higher price range but it'll keep its value and increase over the years guaranteed. It's all about choice man.

Recently listened to the live version of "By-Tor" on my "All The World's A Stage" CD again. Geez that middle section and Alex's solo sound so good cranked up! I wonder when was the last time Alex listened to that. Also, I'm glad to see Alex is enjoying life and happy.

I wish they would make a more affordable version....they should contact Cor-Tek , maybe they could make a deal and produce one in Indonesia or South Korea at a more reasonable price point, like maybe around $1,200 or $1,300. Either that or you could get a Fender Player II Strat in Polar White with the rosewood fretboard and black pickguard ( HSS )
