Longtime William Fichtner fan here. Watch him in the short-lived “Invasion” TV series, a sci-fi action thriller. In that show, he plays a very fit and attractive sheriff. You wonder for much of the series whether he is good or bad.Watch his walk. It’s different than his walk in Prison Break. He is such a superb character actor and appears respected in the industry. There is a great “West Wing” episode where he plays a conservative judge who is elevated to the US Supreme Court. Glenn Close plays a liberal judge - his friend - who is also elevated to the court. It’s a warm and amusing episode. One of my other favorites is another short-lived TV series, this one called “Crossing Lines”. He plays a disabled New York city police officer chasing across Europe the man who shot him. He heads up a team of law-enforcement experts from around the globe. They work for The Hague on cross-border crimes.
