Alex meets famed violinist Itzhak Perlman

Alex was invited to play with Itzhak Perlman at the Itzhak Perlman Super Strings Program in Sarasota, Florida. He missed the opportunity to get his music signed by Mr. Perlman. The nice folks at Super Strings were nice enough to arrange backstage passes at The Barbara Mann where Alex got his Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto signed by Mr. Perlman. He wrote the following...

Amazing! Why has this not had millions of views?! Glad to see he was looking so well in this vid. I still remember watching him on Sesame Street as a child. U know, back when they actually had taste, decency, & a modicum of ownership/concern for what they put into the young & developing minds of the future?

This is just wonderful! You met Itzhak Perlman... when you were just 12! And he was so welcoming! I was accompanied by Van Cliburn and the NY Philharmonic (or Symphony?) Orchestra on the violin at Carnegie Hall when I was 10, around '69 or '70. I didn't appreciate who Van Cliburn was at the time. I wish I had. I'm glad your opportunity came with the appreciation of whom Itzhak Perlman is. (I moved on to the woodwinds.)
