Normal People: HELP SOMEONE SHOT AT ME Alex Murdaugh: I was driving and got a flat. Pulled over to change my tire. Looked up at the sky for about 15 seconds. Turned my head slightly to the left and thats when a vehicle drove by and a guy tried to shoot me. I need an ambulance by the way.

I agree. I have read so many comments about how hard it will be on Alex in prison and I never thought that from day one. He is a covert narcissist who specializes in manipulation and self preservation. He will figure out the game and adjust to his benefit. These types of narcissists have an uncanny ability to rewrite history and the present. Once they've done something wrong, they will make a fake apology and feel that its sufficient and all is well. They don't actually take accountability because they are unable to. Nothing is ever their fault, although they may say "sorry", they don't actually mean it. It's the means to an end so they can bully the victims into forgiveness and resuming their relationship. They expect that others will accept and allow them back into the fold. That's how my ex husband was so I have first hand experience. He was no murderer but definitely a covert narc

I've been sober for 6 years. I have a intimate understanding with addiction. Seen alot. The way I determined he did it was when he claimed to have an opioid addiction. I can tell you that this man wasn't using at the time of the murders. If you use opioids hard, there are clear signs. The biggest one was, he was overweight the night of the murders. Especially for someone using $50,000 weekly. There's just no way. It's just not possible. He used an opioid addiction as a smokescreen yet everyone went along with the narrative.

@@sea302 congratulations!! I was over medicated by a pain management dr several yrs ago. Had me on 5 15mg oxy a day & I only weigh 95lbs. Rhen he moved all of a sudden & left me w a pill addiction. Took forever to find somewhere to help me. He definitely could have been on oxy during the murders, but I don't believe he was taking over 2000mg?!?! That just seems impossible! But OMG hearing him describe about the withdrawal symptoms, holy Lord!!!! Says in a week its supposed to be done?? I call BS on that. After 21 days my heart was still racing so bad I couldn't sleep or rest. It was horrible. Those 1st few days literally make you wanna die or feel you are. He described them pretty well, like the sweating, pain & aching in the lags & all over. I seriously felt like I was burning down into my mattress. I am sorry he got sucked into that pill mess, but he for sure was dealing. To murder your own son & wife to try to keep your secret going is absolutely abhorrent!! How Buster can even look at or talk to him is beyond me. Let the old coot rot!!! He killed Maggie & Paul, the nicknames on the stand made me gag, may have had a hand in Gloria's & maybe the boys killed Stephen, absolutely took everyone away from Buster, thankfully he has a gf. Alex was a psychopath. It is amazing that he made it as far as he did in life without killing someone. He reminds me of the many psychopaths that at CEOs of companies. Sometimes they never kill, but would do anything to anybody to get what they want. I believe he wanted to kill Paul because of the financial consequences of the boating accident. If Maggie was going to divorce him, he wanted to kill her too. I also considered that she was murdered only because she would never stop until she found Paul’s killer. I will never believe that he wanted to kill himself. When the trial starts for Eddie, we will find out. Right now I am not convinced that Buster killed Stephen. I will wait on the investigation for SLED to determine who did it.

I’m currently in season 2 but the Murdaughs - from Alex and his sons - seem … off. Physically they almost look like they’re suffering from FAS or something similar. Alex’s way of speaking is also childishly squeaky and simple - anyone else get this feeling?

I will always believe that all the calls to Maggie's phone happened bc Alex put her phone down...possibly on top of his car. He couldn't remember where he put it.

You know what’s funny, not every generation is good as the last at the same thing. But when you see the same family get the same jobs in the same companies we need to question authenticity.

844 isn’t 5 minutes before they were shot. At 844 everything went down. All phones went dead at that point directly after that. Time of death was 844-849 they said. Idk how they came to that. But Alex was calling for his dog. Likely removing him from the situation because otherwise he would have probably got in the middle of it and been jumping on him or people he was trying to shoot. They probably were dead within a minute or two max of that video being taken. I mean if we are to believe the states time of death. Which I do believe. But I genuinely believe that time based off trust solely. Trust that they wouldnt make it up. Idk how they determine time of death tbh. Or how accurate it is. I know one thing they used was the phones. Saying they were never used again after 844
