Fun Times Your wrong. Bure was more electrifying. Fans would go to games just to watch Bure. Ovechkin has had the better career but let this be known. If Bure didn’t struggle with injuries he would easily have more goals then Gretzky. It’s that simple. He’s ahead of Gretzky and Ovechkin on goals per game. Your taking bout a guy who had back to back 60 goal seasons in his second and third year.

More hockey fans need to watch this, too many people nowadays think Ovi is just a camping power play scorer despite him leading the league in even strength goals multiple times. Like how can someone even non ironically think he only scores on PP’s when he has almost 450 even strength goals? Like that’s almost as many goals as Crosby has total.

Ovechkin is a real hockey star. Probably the greatest star. Not only does he score the most goals. He's a real team leader. Russian bear (in a good way). He is not afraid to appear funny or look stupid. Even outside the game, he's a star, he creates the mood. That's why even fans of other teams love it. Gretzky scored when the goalkeeper was scary to look at, I think in the current outfit he would not have scored so much.

I was actually scrolling to find the trolls that call Ovi a dirty player and how he shouldnt be considered a great...its hard to prove he shouldnt be considered one of the pinnacles that hold hockey to its highest degree. I mean lets face it, it'll be A LONG TIME before someone wins the Rocket Richard 9 times, and lets remember his goal total is with multiple abbreviated seasons because of strikes or sadly this pandemic. He easlier lost a minimum of 30 goals to add to his total this season.
