I believe at 6:19 Alex was worried about Israel, to me that shows his good character, the match was over, but didn't jump around celebrating. He signaled to the ref that Israel needs attention.

Khamzat used to be my favorite fighter. But man, Alex is just way more consistent and so much more brutal in his fights. It's always a blast to watch Alex whenever he fights. Can't wait to see him continue building a legacy there in the UFC.

If you remember the faceoff between Amanda and Ronda, the one where Amanda is wearing a Lioness mask, she is on the scale and turns to her left where Ronda was, I always have said that at that point Ronda pissed herself and lost the fight in that moment, the same happened when Israel and Alex faced off, Alex was wearing that intimidating head piece and the painted face, I don't think Israel pissed himself but I think he lost the fight in that moment. There are levels of bad ass and I think Alex has found the level at the top.

Irony of Izzy/Wilnis. Jason spammed low kicks and blocked most of Izzy's head strikes. Izzy said "Low kicks don't do shit" then years later against Romero and opponents after he spammed low kicks and went back on his statement on their effectiveness.

Because in MMA the striking is not that high level like in Kickboxing You can't win in Kickboxing by just throwing leg kicks because the strikers there are way too high level to just take all that🤷‍♂️ That's why Izzy was fighting so much more offensive as an Kickboxer Im MMA an experienced Kickboxer can make it work like that because an average MMA striker doesn't come close to the striking level of an average Kickboxer an will have a hard time cheking these kicks🙅‍♂️ Jan who has probably the best leg kicks and checks in the UFC and Alex who is one of the best Kickboxers of all time are the only guys who Izzy fought that make him adjust his style because otherwise he won't win by playing the leg kick game💁‍♂️

It must be frustrating to lose a controversial decision, and then in the next two fights, have victory right in front of you with Alex almost out on his feet, only to lose both times when Alex is able to pull through and finish the fight with a KO/TKO... But that's combat sports for ya
