What i meant with that is, u have kickboxers who kickbox their entire life and focus their legs and kicks all the time... But never did boxing, which is the basics and the most dangerous part most useful part of the sport. So if u have somebody who started out boxing and has THIS as his basics... And is amazing at it, he could easily switch to be a kickboxer and et real far.

props to adesanya for everything he has achieved in mma but Its really dumb people keep pushing this narrative of adesanya being the only one that has improved since their clash, pereira went of to become a two division champ in glory you can see how much he has been challenged and had to improve to overcome those challenges while adesanya for the most part has not been facing this level of striking in the ufc, if its a straight kickboxing match when those two get in the octagon, pereira is taking it
@D_r_justice2 жыл бұрын
You are 💯 correct people are wowed by Adesanya striking level when there are even higher level strikers them in outside Ufc and I do believe pereira striking level is even higher than Izzy. The guy proved his an elite striker by taking the belt from an elite striker in Vakhitov and Knocking out the Number one contender at the time too. It was like he was standing in the pocket .. slightly closer than one would normally permit .. yet he was so comfortable doing so .. slipping punches & studying . Then outta nowhere it torques a left hook from the woodworks .. & there’s no way it will be intercepted because he spent rounds conditioning your brain for HIS perceived range I never seen anything like it honestly. Man Izzy vs Alex is going to be like hit vs jiren. Izzy trying to stay 1 step ahead due to his counter ability. But Alex will just walk straight through it cause izzy will underestimate how much Alex had improved.
@0_2_100_GAMING2 жыл бұрын
No he didn't walk him down but he did pull off the rocky and beat him in the 2nd fight. When I said walk him down I am referring to the fight thats about to happen. I feel Alex's power allows him to find more openings. Izzy cannot approach this fight the same as costa or Whittaker cause if he does hell get koed. Also as I mentioned if he approaches this fight like the Jared or yoel fight Alex's skill set, experience, power, mental advantage will over come the point fight and he will find the openings. Gotta remember this guys resume on the feet is very similar to izzy and in some areas even better. Same height reach etc izzy hasn't had that in the ufc other then Anderson and even then he cannot fight that style. The only thing izzy has over him is ufc experience but then Alex's is 2 division kb campion. So if its on the feet I know who I'm picking. Lol

It's a shame this guy didn't come to UFC sooner! Insane knockout power!! His fight with Adesanya will be the biggest in years!

His power punching sequencing is outstanding. Especially at the ranges he's able to do it at. From long kicks,straights, hooks, to knees in one combo all power shots

His calmness and awareness is just like Adesanya but with a bomb left hook, plus the edit was sick, got yourself a new sub!

The best part of this video, Yousri Belgaouri is now Alex’s very close friend. Yousri is at every one of Alex fight camps, learning from each other and helping each other. A man willing to learn from his opponents says a lot about him.

I’ve never been so keen for a fight since Anderson vs weidman 2
@GuyFromTheSouth2 жыл бұрын
Silva weidman 2 was such a disappointment too. Silva was getting beat up abit in round 1 by weidman anyway tho. Almost git KOed by ground and pound. That was also my most anticipated fight ever aside from khabib conor.

He is simply terrifying. His explosive power with every limb is a serious problem. Israel better avoid that cat. That loss was no fluke son. Dude is a legit killer.

Alex has Ngannou levels of power in that left hand. One of these KOs looks like a glancing blow and the guy went down. Israel has his hands full with his next fight.

His shots are so clean. Perfect placement and the power does the rest. Defensively he’s suspect but doesn’t seem to matter with his ability.
