The most worrying part about picking jamal is the fact he's coming off torn Achilles heel, which can have a huge effect on your calf muscle

That is true and maybe he will struggle with movement because of the injury, but he injured his left leg. So as long as he fights southpaw it won't get kicked by Pereira and shouldn't be a problem for him. Unless Alex destroys his right leg and he needs to fight orthodox

If Hill is not recovered fully he will not have the same power in south paw pushing off the ball of his foot because that’s the last to heal on Achilles injury. As well Pereira leg kicks both legs inside & Out and will beat up whatever leg is forward until her switches. Also Hill drops his right hand everytime he throws the right. This will be interesting ☝️🤔

pereira is the better striker, hill is fundamentally good with basic striking which will help him with his defense but i just see pereira piecing him up the way o malley did to chito the whole fight. i don't think hill is going to get tko'd

pereira is just better kicker , not better striker....pereira is about to get slept....a good boxer with power is kryptonite of these kickboxers....all the top guys in glory were below average boxers, even izzy is below average boxer....hill is the best boxer alex will face up to date.....alex managed this far cuz he had faced no good boxers with power...A boxer with good power will beat a great kickboxer if he avoids too much damage because of legkicks....this was evident in izzy vs strickland, volk vs topuria and you are gonna see it again in hill vs alex....

I was going to pick Hill but his style is inefficient in this match up…Hill is about outlasting and out working his opponents from angles but Alex is a sniper that finds his mark and Hill defensively leaves a lot of openings with his hands down and chin up a lot of the times… Hill needs Alex to chase him, basically try to do what Israel did in the second fight…if Hill pushes Alex back he has to be very careful and managing but his last performances don’t show that…then considering Hills injury and inactivity, it’s hard to see him at his best or better at the night…Hill could win because Alex isn’t defensively that good either and he’s very vulnerable to straight shots but I think Alex will get it done…

You’re out of your mind if you think Glover hits anywhere near as hard as Poaton. Go pull up Pereira vs Thomas Powell right here on KZbin, another southpaw in mma that Pereira left unconscious, face down for over 8 1/2 minutes, one shot, no follow up needed😮😮😮

@@TonyF1MMAto me it’s not about so much about how he took the shot, its the fact that that shot landed so many times especially early in the fight…Alex clearly is more powerful then Glover, that’s not to say Hill can’t take Alex shot but Hill hasn’t faced anyone that’s as power as Alex, while you can say Jiri is as or more powerful then Hill…

At 3:36 you’re misguided. ESPN posted that, but it isn’t true, Hill’s bio remains unchanged since he beat Glvoer. The “13” refers to his 12 official wins plus his one NC that should be counted as a win (overturned for positive weed test)

In any sport nothing good comes from rushing an achilles tear injury, i hope he shocks us, but 8month recovery isnt enough, but Hill has 6 kids to feed, he cant sit on his ass, this fight could really go either way, Periera gets caught often hes been wobbled in a few matches ive seen, not a lot of head movement, Hill leaves himself wide open often and does eat a lot of shots but i'd give him the better chin. i wouldnt bet on this one.

If Hill’s not fully recovered, he won’t have same power southpaw because he won’t be able to fully push off ball of foot to produce power. Saw a dr discuss this. Pereira broke the power cube kick score against Bas Ruten w/ his left leg…. so don’t know how much less power generated from left & his stance allows him to wind up either side. Hill DROPS his right when throwing left,perfect setup for left hook counter. Hill fought 1 champ (Glover) hit him w/ 200 shots, couldn’t KO him. Rest all old or mid fighters…Crute, Glass Jaw Walker, Santos 38, injured & washed, St Prue 38, hit him w/ 20 shots in a row and couldn’t even drop him, Glover 43 only top tier champ and couldn’t KO him. Compare that to Pereira vs Thomas Powell, another mma southpaw that Poaton left unconscious over 8-1/2 minutes, 1 shot, no follow up needed😮😮 Hill better have an anchor protecting that chin☝️🤔

To me, it’s 50/50. Hill is tricky, Alex has better power in the clinch n kickboxing. I’d give a slight edge to Alex, but we never no, One mistake by Alex, Hill will go psycho n get the W. Both might have to win rounds makin it a blood bath. Possible KO/TKO. We’ll see. Too many variables 🤯

Bruhhh….. how can u not mention Jamahal chin and gas tank when talking about best attributes? That’s crazy dude has never been tired never been rocked never been hurt (outside of the Paul Craig fight which proves even more his toughness dude didn’t tap to a broken fucking arm), he is one of the few guys who can legit still throw with full power 20+ minutes into a fight. And his takedown and bottom game against glover looked so damn good (albeit probably non factor here). I got hill by late 4th round KO after poatan gets tired and starts to slow down and get sloppy with his guard. Those left leg high kicks might find the mark if it goes long enough

Wow an MMA you tube that actually has some knowledge about fighting and is somewhat honest in there analysis. I will say this though the southpaw orthodox thing only matters if the fighters are really good at stand up fighting. Same thing with the reach advantage it only matters if they are super technical… over all good video… I will say if you look at who Hill has beat and how he fights he is probably the most overrated fighter in the history of MMA
