How funny, I didn’t think he had any chemistry with the lead girl. I didn’t think they were believable as lovers at all. I thought he had more chemistry with Dennis Quaid than he had with the girl lead. I thought Alex was doing his part to act like he was in love with her but I didn’t feel she was great at trying to make us believe she was in love with him. On top of that, I thought she looked the age she was playing (an 18 year old) while you can tell he is much older than her trying to play a kid. For me they didn’t mesh well together. I didn’t think this was some great love story/couple. I don’t think Vanessa Hudgens is a great actress or singer but I thought she had more chemistry with Alex in “Beastly” then this girl did in this movie with Alex.
