8 is slowly becoming the standard for shows these days (especially originals by netflix or amazon since they aren’t being aired on TV) and tbh i prefer 8 concise episodes with the right amount of action than 20 episodes where more than half are just fillers and drag on the show.

Don't worry, as long as you have patient you'll be fine! They've already announced a season 2 for this series, based on Eagle Strike, which is predicted to be released summer 2021, as long as COVID doesn't wreck anything :)

just finished binging it, couldn't get up, finished it in one sitting it was that good! *As a fan of the books, i love how they didn't copy too much from them, but were actually able to execute it so much better.* _Otto is perfect for the role, and the ENTIRE cast really..( i saw Andrew Buchan and Vicky McClure and felt a little Broadchurch moment there xD) but i just simply cannot wait for season 2._

Alex Rider and His Dark Materials were the biggest letdowns of my Childhood 😭 What's worse is that both of these films had stellar A-star casts. But they felt so cheap at times. Thank goodness this series is spot on
