I'm not a Superman guy, but if I were, this is the Superman I would want in my collection. It's the embodiment of the character as I imagine him. Congratulations, Jeff!

I think the statue is well done. I'm not a big Alex Ross fan but if I was then this definitely feels like a classic piece to add to the collection. Congrats on your new piece and I can't wait to see it paired with the Batman

Erick Sosa did a Kingdom Come Superman kit a few years ago, 1st release was undersized but he later did a true 1/4 kit, to me that one has the best Alex Ross likeness, even down to the squinting eyes.

The statue looks pretty cool. It’s unfortunate that you had issues with it. However, it’s a very respectable that’s the one who made this piece is trying to rectify the issue. I didn’t hear about a Prime 1 Studio realistic, Alex Ross Superman piece. Can you please provide me a link to it?

I got the Kingdom Come version and am annoyed I can’t use the arms crossed version because it doesn’t have the grey!

I think it's very nice, and I really like both torsos. The portrait...yeah, I see what you mean. It's a little bit off putting somehow. Agreeing that Superman should be the most handsome man in the world (also Wonder Woman re women) , but Alex Ross' Superman is not that, unfortunately. I like his Superman, but I think his Superman is the weak link of his superhero portrayals in terms of the face. He bases his Supes on his friend actor Frank Kasy, who I think doesn't resemble the character at all. And he always makes Supes too old. I'll still get it because it is very faithful to Ross, but it's not the most flattering portrait of Superman. I like the Iron Studios one, will get that too, but it's a bit off. We really need someone who can sculpt a flattering portrait for Supes that is faithful to Ross, but without looking so old and world weary. (Check out Frank Kasy's IMDB page, it has video of him right at the top. He couldn't possibly look less like Superman).

I will just add that a friend told me that he thinks the Prime One Supes looks like actor Alan Ritchson with black hair, and I do think Ritchson might make a good Kingdom Come Supes. So there's that.

Just paint over the grey, simple. I'm not keen on how proud the S sits on the chest. Finally, a cape is a short garment, usually around waist length, Superman, along with most superheroes of this ilk wears a cloak, everybody makes this mistake!
