One thing I really respect about Volk and he has seemed to have come to terms with this; is the pressure from the fans about his personality a couple of years ago. I remember a few years ago he was getting very emotional about the fans attacking his percieved lack of charisma or him being 'boring'. He just seems to have shrugged it off finally and is comfortable in his skin. This has led him to gain even more respect from the fans. If anything, its taught me that modern MMA fans are truly toxic. What a shame.
