Greetings AleXa! I want to thank you and your team for highlighting this problem. I was diagnosed with panic disorder in 2016. In 2019, the diagnosis was changed to bipolar affective disorder. During periods of mania, I would rack up a huge pile of tasks, make unfulfilling promises, and work 15 hours a day. And then fall into depression for a month. Sleep, food, all basic needs ignored. Over time, the episodes of mania became shorter and shorter, and the depression became longer and longer. In my country, mental health problems are highly stigmatized. It's not accepted to talk about them. And if you're a man, it's considered a weakness. I have had and still have only one-just one person with whom I can safely share my emotions. As for everyone else: I'm okay. Hopefully that will change someday.
