I have commented about this before a while back, but after listening/hearing you again after sometime, more specifically, your original compositions, dude... Not only do I think your voice is unique, I absolutely love the direction and way in which you use it. Being a musician, I appreciate when someone comes along and is able to write and arrange a piece that makes me nod my head, and laugh. I'm not sure if you ever get this Alexa, but ever listened to a song and get to a certain point where someone does a lick, a drum fill, something improvised, juxtaposed to rest of the song... it's like you are listening to a conversation between several people and then someone says something that's edifying to the whole, and you can't help but laugh because it sounds that good? You have been given a gift Alexa, and I don't just mean your voice, your covers and rearrangements of other pieces, bellissimo. There are plenty of well known "attractive" singers out there, but you... head and shoulders Alexa, head and shoulders. Don't ever stop, keep going 'til the wheels fall off that fucker. absolutely incredible song and video, you never cease to completely blow my freakin' mind. I especially love the depth and power of the lyrics in this track. I interpreted an incredibly potent message: we are guided and manipulated by algorithms designed to capture our attention and dictate our internal thinking and external behaviors. we are trapped inside of zeroes and ones that tell us what to do, what to think, how to feel. "i'll make you perfect" - huge stories coming out lately about how photo filters are causing huge body dysmorphia issues, especially in young girls, and causing a mental health crisis. this entire song and vid are total fire and you absolutely nailed the darkness that exists within the realms of social media image designing. a conundrum for an artist like you- so much is expected of you by people you've never met- i can only imagine the pressure. keep fucking rocking it and keep expressing anything and everything that you desire to.
