Alexa is 30 and she still looks the exact same from when she was younger 😍 so grown up and mature - hasn’t aged a day! She is a beautiful person inside and out, I love her. You age gracefully when you don’t have toxic or fake people around you. I feel so bad for what happened to her with Britney on set, I definitely see JL talking smack about Alexa and it was all lies. I think something set off Britney from hearing one of JL lies about Alexa and went off, still doesn’t excuse the fact Alexa was 12, and Britney was 21/22.. I still love Britney and I genuinely think she wouldn’t have done that if she knew it wasn’t the truth. JL running to the back of the bus once Alexa came in, is SO revealing of her true character. Jamie Lynn lied. Period. I believe Alexa 100%. And the fact that Britney even says that her own sister has treated her horribly, Jamie has issues! She gets it from her parents clearly. So weird. I also have this feeling that if you tell Jamie that she was wrong in every rumor she heard or with whatever happened, she'd stick to her guns and continue the lies. For someone that claims to be on a journey to move on in life and trust in her faith, ((AND she even says Britney needs to move on from everything she's been through, which basically downplays Britney's claims of abuse)) She sure hasn't done that! She sure is clinging on to the past and still lying. I dislike that this book is under the Christian section, because it's full of lies and not very Christianlike, except for the fact that she claims she's now religious. I just don't understand how people are buying her lies like this. - I will also add that if she loved her sister, JL would acknowledge Britney's pain and abuse and she'd stop speaking to Britney's abusers and stop the madness, but yet she continues. JL seriously believes she's right in what she's doing. Something seems off here. I am betting anything that the reason for all of this is Lou Taylor. They're all toxic. I agree -even though she was clearly manipulated & weaponized by who she believed was still her sweet little 13 year old sister that was actually the one being horribly bullied - but i do think Alexa is such an amzing person that she understands that B is likely BARLEY hanging on & is completely consumed in the abuse & lack of control she’s dealing with right now,.. i couldnt even keep up with my messages or replies to my posts or comments for years & years when i was going through similar,.. she may not even know its being brought up or what really happened at this point! She may have never heard Alexa come out about what happened or realized that Jamie Lynn was even lying at this point & because trauma like that causes severe memory issues (i think because your brain feels like it has to block certain things & push so many things out of the front of your mind so you can survive) & she may apologize as soon as anything triggers the memory of this happening or when she has the mental capability to handle looking up topics related to one of her abusers (her sister) & comes across something from or about Alexa.. sorry if that was hard to follow! The trauma i went through has really effected everything, even my ability to communicate effectively,.. I really really do hope that she does apologize as soon as she can because Alexa definitely definitely definitely deserves it! I was just trying to offer some perspective on why she likely hasn’t already!

@@toomuchpipsi just in case you were referring to my comment, i wasn’t even really a “fan” of Britney’s music or anything,.. (Besides 2 or 3 songs when i was VERY young) I actually was & am a fan of Alexa & i doubt many Britney fans would say Alexa doesn’t deserve an apology,.. my daughter’s only 1 year younger than Alexa was & that would DESTROY her,… im just someone who’s been through a lot of manipulation & narcissistic abuse (which alexa also had to go through a crap ton of as a child from Jamie Lynn) that led to similar consequences as it did for Britney & i was explaining why she likely hasn’t already apologized & why it could potentially take a little while. Most people don’t understand what that level of trauma really does to someones brain,.. I think those that do understand are just as serious about defending Britney in most cases than blind super fans even are (which I believe may be why she has so much support right now) but we also understand how traumatic this was for Alexa & how much it likely effected her for the same reasons. The way narcissists manipulate & weaponize the people around them the way Jamie Lynn did with Britney & Victoria is DISGUSTING & we have NO idea what all Jamie Lynn told them to get them to treat her the way they did, but i would still expect them to both apologize to her once they understand the truth - & with Britney, her life is literally on the line & she terrified every time she speaks because it could be used against her right now so i wouldn’t expect her to necessarily do so (in public at least) until she’s truly free.

Im SO freaking tired of narcissistic jerks causing so much damage & just getting away with it! & i know what its like being on the other end of narcissistic abuse similar to Britney’s & know that a good hearted person will be DESTROYED by it without any support, i LOVE that Sloan has been offering that support for so many for so long now! I actually found him because i had been heartbroken over Britney’s circumstances for the last 8 years or so & was looking for someone with a platform to take her case seriously & speak up about it for so long🙏🏻❤️

I was bullied for the exact same reasons as Alexa her personality is so similar to mines. I was always too bubbly too chatty, too nice. And that's why I gravitated to Alexas character (nicole) on the show. I actually stopped watching it after her character left, it wasn't the same for me. I find it really inspirational how she's standing up for herself more and speaking out now instead of holding back because I have also been trying to do that. Like I said I find Alexa extremly relatable and that's why I love her so much. I'm glad you gave gotten your truth out there and that you seem in a good place now! I can relate to the, “being too nice” aspect that she touched on. My parents were very strict growing up and I didn’t get out much. I definitely had a view of the world that was rainbows and butterflies which was far from the truth. Everything sort of shocks you once you’re out in the real world and you have a naivety to you. I’ve been hurt many a time and was even told once by some girls that I was, “too nice” and it came off as fake. That one messed with my mind for a while.

I think Dan Schneider was just creating the most abusive and toxic environment on set and then I also think the Spears family is just incredibly abusive and toxic. That dad is probably a sociopath so the fact that Jamie or Britney could even feel normal emotions is an accomplishment from all the abuse they’ve gone through. All the little children on that set were victims.

While you can’t self diagnose someone, I encourage everyone interested in finding out more of the psychology behind Jamie Lynn to explore this. I am so happy to hear Alexa’s growth and separation from getting out of a toxic dynamic “friendship” backlash she suffered during her time on the show. I feel for her and encourage her to no-contact and block Jamie herself on every platform because hurting her with the lies and manipulation won’t stop. For anyone in Britney’s situation: If your loved one tells you that someone’s causing them trouble, don’t immediately confront that person. Give them a chance to explain themselves. For example, instead of saying “You better not bully my sister again!” a better thing to say would be “Hey, my sister’s been telling me that you’re saying these things. Is that true?” The way a person reacts will show you whether they’re guilty or not. Either way, you’re being the bigger person by giving them a chance to address the drama. I’m a teaching student, so we’re trained to talk to adolescents in a non-confrontational way :) Even if Alexa happened to say something about “lice” (which of course she didn’t lol) words get twisted. This whole idea of “someone told someone who told someone who told me that you said I had lice” is the mere teenage game of telephone that usually ends up being misconstrued. It’s obvious that someone in the cast just made up lies about Alexa in order to a.) get Jamie Lynn to be their friend and b.) start unnecessary drama
@annieoops62432 жыл бұрын
Great advice..if you step to someone with the dukes up they will often automatically shut down and not even process what you're saying completely because they go into auto defense mode..I'm sure you'll be a fantastic teacher!
@pereniseleutogi10562 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right. The only problem is that when you are a trusting person you have no reason to believe your own family would lie to you. It took me many years before I was finally able to see that all the things my narcissistic family member had told me was a lie. I stood up for the on countless occasions. So you are definitely correct in saying that asking first is the path to take but I do understand why Britney just accepted what her sister told her.
@birdy3692 жыл бұрын
As someone who's grown up in the south myself, Getting your older bigger tougher siblings in on your drama and on your defense is a hugely southern sort of thing. Its a sort of thinking of "idc if my little sibling is wrong, I'm going to defend my family no matter WHAT." She could've had that sort of mindset, having been raised in the south herself. As well as (and idk the accuracy of this, i saw somewhere that Britney was in her very early 20s) her being so young thrust into this business, she most likely did not have proper examples of "what's appropriate for this age" sort of thing around her at ALL. I mean it was obvious that she endured things that a teen girl should not have had to endured whatsoever, but think about it. Britney probably never had people her own age around her that were leading actual age appropriate lives - if anything I would bet she had people older than her acting quite immaturely - and that may have been the examples that she went on. I just doubt (for both Britney and JL - but more Britney than JL - and we can clearly see this from JL now) they were ever taught properly how to handle their their problems responsibly, let alone recognize problems they were having, and what types of problems were even appropriate to be dealing with at their young ages. And, thinking as Britney again; your family is in the spotlight because of your success... she probably felt like she would absolutely do anything to defend her family and anyone trying to attack them. Her own experience being crucified in the tabloids at 16 & on, she most likely wanted to protect her little sister from anyone reporting lies about her little sister due to her own terrible experience. That is NOT excuse for what she did at all, she definitely should've thought that through alot more, but I'm not sure if she even had the mature intellect to do so at that time. Now we are all much more aware of the sensitivity of children and whatnot... but that wasnt always the case. - to her she possibly justified it as "oh this little girl who's in this industry as well should know better... shes probably trying to create problems with my sister to get attention on herself!". Britney more than likely had seen too many instances of that play out in her real life, and in her opinion she thought best to unquestionably believe her little sister... There's just so many possible reasonings I can think of behind Britney's INCORRECT reaction and handling of that situation... JL was and still is obviously manipulative as hell for setting this up, but part of me can sort of understand both of their reasoning for the ignorance in the situation. Regardless both the Spears girls were wrong for this... but to me JL is just a bit more fd up for this than anyone. I wish young Alexa didn't have her idol attack her in such a way though. I couldn't imagine how that hurt and damaged her. I wish Britney had had the ability to handle that better. Because that's what I doubt - I doubt she even had the personal social tools and maturity to manage that properly. ITS NOT EXCUSABLE. Just understood. We all have a responsibility to strive to know and learn better, to be a better person within ourselves, and they both neglected that responsibility.

My mom used to do that when I was a child. When my sister or me accused someone else of doing us something bad she decided don´t overreact and stay calm. I'm sure JL was threatened. Here comes Alexa, this super sweet young girl, who was happy, super close to her mom, was homeschooled and sheltered and protected by her mother. And Jamie Lynn didn't have any of that in her life. And she probably longed for that love and stability. What people see and don't like about others, is totally tied to something they feel within themselves. She was likely jealous and threatened by her. Her own relationship with her sister had tones of being competitive, with Britney always coming out on top. She probably felt like she was finally in the top seat, and she wasn't going to let anything or anyone get in the way of that or possibly take it from her. And the only way she knew how to do that, was by knocking Alexa down. It's not about anything Alexa did or didn't do and it's not a reflection of who Alexa was as a person- it's a reflection of who Jamie Lynn was and where she was at in her life. The fact that Alexa feels hurt and frustrated by this, but still has the capability of having compassion and empathy for the people that hurt her- speaks volumes of her character and her emotional intelligence. It's very impressive!!

I paused this to rewatch the music video, and I’m actually crying, because Zoey 101 meant so much to me, it was my childhood. Like I fell in love with the show and to know how horrible they were to her, and to know how badly people were treated makes me so sad. I’m similar to Alexa in the sense of I’m happy, bubbly and I will always stand for what I believe in.. it just hurts, here I am at 25 balling over this.

Alexa, if you’re reading this know that you are incredibly strong, brave and have the most beautiful soul not only for speaking out about what you have gone trough personally (and I’m talking about EVERYTHING not just this video and the whole JL Spears situation). You’ve given a voice to those who are too scared to as well as given the strength to others to do so for themselves. My younger sister used to watch the show and everytime it was on I had to zip my lips to not say how wooden Jamie's so called acting was and I felt sorry for the actual actors and talented kids that had to work with her. I felt it was pretty obvious she got the show because she was Britney's sister. Apart from the lies I would be interested to know what the cast actually thought of her acting or meagre attempt at acting.
@honeyyb2 жыл бұрын
Okay I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought her acting was so stiff, and it didn't improve much as the show went on. She just wasn't very good at showing any kind of emotion. I haven't seen her recent show so I can't say if she's improved at all but hopefully between then and now she's invested in a good acting coach (or if they gave her one while she was on Zoey 101, then a better one lol)

The reason she isn't a good actor is because she is a narc she doesn't have the capacity for empathy therefore can't pretend(act) because she doesn't feel anything the only time they become award winning actors is when they are being manipulative to get what they want from someone.

Alexa, if you are reading this. I remember watching that TMZ interview. I remember you and a friend was walking and TMZ stopped you and your friend. My impression of you during that interview was classy and genuine. Honestly, if someone told me someone I know was pregnant at 16, I would be surprised as well. I felt you handle it well despite having issues with her in the past. What stuck me the most when you mentioned your bad encounter of Britney Spears, you didn’t discuss in details what was said but you said nothing but nice things about her. So that really impressed me a lot. I know how you feel because I have social anxiety. After a interaction, I start thinking, “Did that come out wrong?”. So don’t worry, you did fine.

Tbf Britney is also a product of her raising, and after everything her family put her through, she still has spoken about not wanting to humiliate the family who was exploiting and abusing her for decades. Until it got too much and she ultimately emotionally and legally broke free. She’s now in a place where she is deconstructing and I feel like Britney now would not condone that behavior. But it is VERY socially accepted and encouraged in the south to do exactly as Britney did in that moment. Obviously none of that excuses it. At all. It’s gross and sad. But there’s a lot of unpacking for Britney and I think accepting her family was so horrible to her herself is a big step. Abusive households are often set up to defend the family at any cost. Sorry I’m rambling, but just saying I can see the conditioning at play for her behavior and think she’s breaking free from that cycle . I would hope one day they can talk it out. I can’t know, but at least she seems to be trying from what I see. Unlike Jamie snake Lynn who’s still on her bullshit.

It’s important cause something we don’t tend to think about it 50yrs from now, or 100yrs from now when all the people alive in our lifetime are gone & our grandkids grandkids are looking back on things from today, that book will be taken as fact if enough knowledgeable people from the time don’t make a lot of noise about the lies in it cause 100yrs from now, no one would know any different so what she’s doing is super important & I hope more people come out & do the same 💜💜
