Hi. Thanks for the video. I had fun eventually getting the dot to talk. This is the only way i have found so far. Great effort.

Looks like the compression needed to get this one onto KZbin hasn't done the smaller text any favours. I'll see if I can get a better result from it in the next few days.

i see there is also a node called "node-red-contrib-alexa-remote2 " while you use "node-red-contrib-alexa-remote". did you try remote2?

I've not tried it. I think it brings further functions, but I just wanted speech.

Hello Jeff Thanks for your video. I have a question/issue When I log out from the website (alexa.amazon.co.uk) the Echo don't function. The Cookie change and don't work (login error). There is possibility to fixe this issue? Regards

Hi, You'll need to ask the creator of the node red code about that. It makes sense that the cookie would expire, though, and there's no easy automated way to replace it.

Hello JeffIt is clear How many time the COOKIE would expire? How many time you change it (1 at week)?Regards

Yes, eventually. Sooner if you log out of Amazon in the browser that you lifted them from.
