There are a lot of covers of this song on KZbin. There are only a few that work and those are the ones that you can tell the singer has gone through something similar in life, at least in regards to thinking the only person that could ever replace someone you lost was finding "someone like" them. The kind of pitiful sad impossibility of that. Been there. I can only guess but I'd say you were singing from experience of the heart and it shows (and sounds). Thankyou.

Just listened to a few more of your videos. A few are a bit nasal (Etta, Moves Like Jagger), but you absolutely shine on Whitney and this one especially. The later choruses where you are actually quieter than the first are even more beautiful, because you support them all the way through, even though they're quiet. Just masterful. Takes my breath away every time.

Actually very good! However, for me the line "someone like you" at the start of each refrain coming in too early was annoying. Piano sounded like a MIDI file, esp @ 3min29s, the non-interaction between pianist and singer is exposed. (Musician from Yateley :) )
