First I stumbled into this video. Then I saw your interpretations of songs by Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Queen, and many others. And then I came back here. I've heard this song hundreds of times. I admire this song. This song is so good that it will survive any adaptation by another artist or in another genre. I've seen the Pixies perform it live. With and without Kim Deal. With or without a good ooooh-ooooh. I know the Placebo-, the Nada Surf and the Weezer version. And I saw a sad clown with a great voice singing this song. I've heard string quartets and street artists perform this song. And now i hear a girl, who wasn't even born when this was published, singing an playing it. Perky, but not silly. I think this version is different, but close to how it was meant to be.
